What is a Shine Learning Mentor (SLM)?

Some students may find accessing the school curriculum and navigating social and play skills throughout their school day more challenging.  Our SLM’s are assigned to students who require part-time or full-time one to one guidance to thrive within their school setting.

We believe all students should feel confident and excited about learning. Our SLM’s are trained to accommodate and support varying learning styles resulting in independence and success within the school environment. 

SLM’s help to maintain an optimal classroom environment, benefiting not only the student but the class as a whole.
